Three Army soldiers were wounded in a clash with suspected New People's Army (NPA) rebels in Sampaloc town, Quezon on Tuesday, the military said. First Lt. Felise Vida Solano, public information officer of the Armed Forces Southern Luzon Command (Solcom), said the encounter happened in Barangay San Bueno at 11:37 a.m. Quoting from a spot report, Solano claimed the communist insurgents also suffered an undetermined number of injured and casualties.
