MANILA, Philippines --- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) advised Filipinos living in the United States, particularly in the Midwest and Northeast Region, to take precautions against a winter storm moving across the country that might bring severe weather into the weekend. In a statement on Sunday, DFA said it was monitoring the situation in the US as the second of a series of storms moving across the country was expected to bring a significant volume snow and ice in the north and heavy rains and severe weather in the south into the weekend.
