MANILA, Philippines --- The House of Representatives has sworn in the new representative of Ako Bicol party-list, weeks after the assassination of Rep. Rodel Batocabe in a remote village in Daraga, Albay. Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo administered the oath of office to new Ako Bicol Rep. Ronald S. Ang during the plenary session on Wednesday. Ang, the fourth nominee of the party-list, would assume Batocabe's post until June 30. He represents the party-list with Reps. Alfredo Garbin Jr. and Christopher Co.
