MANILA, Philippines - The southwest monsoon or "habagat" will bring isolated rains across Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday. Pagasa weather specialist Gener Quitlong said scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) region and the provinces of Zambales and Bataan in Central Luzon.
