LUCENA CITY -- At least 15 were injured in a cargo truck-passenger jeepney collision along the Maharlika Highway in Pagbilao town in Quezon province Saturday afternoon. A report from Pagbilao police said the Lucena-bound cargo truck being driven by Edward Garay occupied the opposite lane when he overtook a vehicle ahead but accidentally collided with an incoming passenger jeepney being driven by Fernando Arevalo. The accident happened at one section of the Maharlika Highway in Barangay (village) Silangang Malicboy around 2 p.m. Both drivers and 13 jeepney passengers sustained injuries and were taken to MMG Hospital, Saint Anne Hospital and Quezon Medical Center, all in Lucena City....
