COTABATO CITY -- A magnitude 4 earthquake on Sunday hit Moro Gulf that affected Zamboanga del Sur, Lanao del Sur, and Maguindanao, the state volcanology and seismology office said. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that the quake, which was tectonic in origin, struck at 9:10 a.m. It was traced 65 kilometers east of Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur and had a depth of 12 kilometers. In its bulletin, the Phivolcs said Intensity II was felt in Cotabato City and Intensity I in Kiamba, Sarangani. No casualties or damages to properties were reported. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)...
