SAN PEDRO CITY--A suspected drug pusher was killed in a police operation in Tanauan City in Batangas province Sunday. A report from the regional police headquarters said police conducted the buy-bust operation around 1 a.m. in Barangay (village) Boot against suspect Ramil Macahiya. The suspect allegedly fired his gun when he learned he was dealing with police officers. The police then returned fire, killing the suspect in the process.
