MANILA, Philippines -- The Manila City Regional Trial has found guilty a former army reservist for the death of a cyclist more than three years ago. Vhon Martin Tanto has been sentenced to suffer imprisonment of up to 40 years and pay more than P1-million worth of damages to the family of cyclist Mark Vincent Garalde.
