COTABATO CITY -- A students' excursion turned bloody after the brakes of the vehicle they were riding supposedly malfunctioned, turning the van upside down along the highway in Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Two of the 13 students aboard the green Toyota Town Ace driven by Sammy Alimao, 37, died while 11 were wounded, according to the statement from the Kalamansig Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
