MANILA, Philippines -- Several commuters in Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela and Quezon City, were affected by the transport strike of public utility vehicle (PUV) groups on Monday. In Caloocan City, hordes of commuters waiting for a ride were seen near the Light Rail Transit (LRT) 5th Avenue and Monumento Station. Around 30 members of Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (Piston) and other cause-oriented groups are staging a protest near the Bonifacio monument in the city.
