MANILA, Philippines --- Tropical Depression "Onyok" entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in the early hours of Saturday and is expected to intensify into a tropical storm, the state weather bureau said. In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Onyok was last spotted at 1,100 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes. Onyok is packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center, and gustiness of up to 70 kph. The weather disturbance was also spotted moving northwest at 30 kph.
