MANILA, Philippines -- Four suspected robbers died in a shootout with police in Barangay Payatas in Quezon City on Tuesday morning. Batasan police station commander Lt. Col. Joel Villanueva said an unnamed taxi driver reported that four men were robbing a gas station along Payatas Road in Barangay Payatas at 3 a.m. Responding police officers engaged the robbers in a brief gunfight that led to the death of the suspects. Recovered from the scene were four .38 revolver with ammunition, black sling bag, cellphone, digital weighing scale, motorcycle, and seven sachets of suspected shabu....
