LUCENA CITY ---- Two motorcycle riders died in a collision along the Maharlika Highway in Calauag town in Quezon province shortly before midnight Monday, police said. In a report, Calauag police identified the victims as Randel Capisonda, 20, and Noriel Abanes, 18, both residents of Calauag. Police said the motorcycle ridden by Capisonda and Abanes as back-rider overtook a vehicle ahead but consequently collided with an oncoming truck driven by Paterno Rada in Barangay Sumilang around 11:30 p.m. The truck dragged the motorcycle and the victims some 10 meters from the point of impact.
