BAGUIO CITY ------ Hundreds of elementary students paraded down the streets of this city on Friday morning during the official opening of the 24th Panagbenga or flower festival. Street dancers demonstrated their dance routines accompanied by upbeat music of the drum and lyre. They were clad in flower-inspired costumes. Other young dancers were dressed as insects like rainbow-colored butterflies.
