DAGUPAN CITY --- A 50-year-old onion grower from Alcala, Pangasinan survived a gun attack inside her house by a man who disguised himself as a customer. Police said Conception Palafox Cortez of Atainan village, was cooking when suspect Edgar Mabalot Agustin, 52, went inside her house and shot her for unknown reasons. Cortez's husband took her to the hospital where she is being treated while the suspect fled on board a motorcycle.
