MANILA, Philippines --- A reenacted national budget for 2019 would have a "serious impact" on the conduct of the May 2019 national elections, an official of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said Friday. Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez said that if the budget is reenacted, the compensation for election workers such as teachers and barangay officials would be hit.
