MANILA, Philippines --- Apanel of the Commission on Appointments (CA) has recommended for confirmation thead interim appointment of Judge FranklinJaroda Demonteverde Sr. as a member of the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC). No one objected to the motion to recommend the appointment of Demonteverde during Wednesday's hearing of the CA committee on justice and judicial bar council chaired by Senator Koko Pimentel. The panel's recommendation would then be transmitted for approval at the plenary. Demonteverde took his oath as JBC member representing the Integrated Bar of the Philippines on August 7.
