MANILA, Philippines -- A vintage Howitzer shell was discovered in a construction site Makati City Wednesday morning. The Makati City Police -- Police Community Precinct (PCP)-8 said one Reinerio Valdez found the explosive at the construction site along J.P. Rizal Extension in Barangay East Rembo at around 8 a.m. Makati City police chief Col. Rogelio Simon said members of Makati PCP-8 secured the area and retrieved the 105-millimeter shell.
