SOCHI, Russia - President Rodrigo Duterte touched down here late Wednesday (Thursday morning in Manila) ahead of his bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Duterte's aircraft landed at the Sochi International Airport at around 11:30 p.m. (4:30 a.m. Manila time). He flew from Moscow, where he met with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and paid a courtesy call on Igor Sechin, chief executive officer of a global public oil and gas corporation.
