From 56 to 60: Police officers’ retirement age adjustment eyed

MANILA, Philippines -- Philippine National Police (PNP) officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa, on Tuesday floated the idea of raising the retirement age of police officers from 56 to 60.   Gamboa cited the two years that were added to the basic education curriculum due to the K-12 program in explaining his point.   "Probably it can go to 58.
