MANILA, Philippines -- The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) halted operations from Monumento to Roosevelt station Thursday morning due to mechanical issues. In a Twitter post, LRT-1 management said it could only ferry passengers from Monumento to Baclaran terminals and vice versa. It assured commuters that the problem is already being checked by its technicians.
