MANILA, Philippines --- Baguio City has canceled classes in both private and public schools for the Panagbenga or Baguio Flower Festival and Chinese New Year. In an administrative order signed by Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan, classes are suspended for elementary and high school in both private and public schools on Feb. 1 "to pave way for the grand parade" during the Flower Festival. Classes are also suspended for the tertiary level on March 2 to make way for the grand Panagbenga street dance parade.
