MANILA, Philippines -- The southwest monsoon or "habagat" will bring rains over Northern and Central Luzon, the weather bureau said on Sunday. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Zambales, Bataan, Palawan and Mindoro provinces will experience cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. Pagasa said that residents of the said areas should prepare for possible flash floods or landslides caused by moderate to heavy rains.
