BACOLOD CITY ---- At least six persons died in a fire that broke out in a pension house here early Tuesday morning. Killed were two females and four males who occupied the Java Pension House said Bacolod Fire Chief Publio Plotea. The identities of the fatalities have yet to be revealed. The fire department received the alarm at 4:37 a.m. It took about five hours before the blaze was put out. Firefighters rescued some of the survivors through the windows of the building.
