LUCENA CITY -- Police arrested a suspected peddler of marijuana or "weed" in a buy-bust operation in this city early Saturday, police said. Bernard Neric, 25, was nabbed by anti-illegal drugs operatives after he sold a plastic sachet of weed to a police agent who acted as poseur buyer in a transaction in Barangay (village) Gulang-Gulang around 5 a.m., Lt. Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief said in a report. Authorities seized 13 plastic sachets of marijuana weighing 86.6 grams worth P10,390 in the street market.
