ILIGAN CITY -- Heavily-armed men ambushed the convoy of Masiu, Lanao del Sur Mayor Nasser Pangandaman Jr. Sunday morning in the municipality of Buadipuso-Buntong. Colonel Madzgani Mukaram, Lanao del Sur police chief, said Pangandaman Jr. was heading to his office from Marawi City when the gunmen, armed with high-powered firearms waylaid his convoy in Barangay Gata.
