MANILA, Philippines - A police officer died after figuring in vehicular accident at the C-5 Bagong Ilog flyover area Thursday morning, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said. The MMDA Metrobase said the fatality was in a police officer's uniform when the cement mixer struck his motorcycle. Another motorcycle was likewise hit by the wayward truck, injuring its rider.
