LUCENA CITY -- A five-year-old pedestrian and a motorcycle rider died in two separate road accidents in Gumaca and Sariaya towns in Quezon province on Sunday, police said Monday. Report from Quezon police said Junjake Brizo, 5, resident of Barangay (village) Villa Arcaya in Gumaca town, was accidentally hit by a Manila-bound passenger bus while crossing the Maharlika Highway in the said village around 6:30 a.m. The boy sustained grave injuries and died while being taken to Gumaca District Hospital at the town center.
