MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Embassy in Seoul, South Korea warned Filipinos against fake visa processing services being offered to irregular migrants. In an advisory on Monday, the embassy said these services are usually advertised on social media and claim to provide assistance to Filipinos who wish to acquire a valid visa and enable them to legally work and stay in Korea. These services are supposed to be provided for "free" or for a "small" attorney's fee, the embassy said. The embassy said South Korean authorities prohibit such services.
