BACOLOD CITY -- An 8-year-old boy shot his father to death in their house in Sitio Manluy-a, Barangay San Jose, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday night. Jessy Obas, 39, succumbed to three gunshot wounds in the chest, the police said. Before the shooting incident, the victim, who was under the influence of liquor physically manhandled his 8-year-old son in the presence of his two other siblings, Lt. Col. Necerato Sabando, officer-in-charge of the Sipalay City Police Station, said.
