MANILA, Philippines --- Cloudy skies with a chance of rains are expected over Metro Manila and other parts of the country due to two low-pressure areas (LPAs), as well as an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the state weather bureau said Saturday. In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the LPAs and ITCZ may bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula.
