SAN PEDRO CITY ---- A man wanted by the authorities for robbery and alleged illegal drug dealings was killed in a shootout in Calamba City, Laguna. Calamba City police chief Lt. Col. Jacinto Malinao Jr. said on Wednesday that Eric Luna, an alleged drug pusher, was also involved in a series of robberies in Calamba and Cabuyao cities. A police report said members of the city police had a warrant to search Luna's residence in Barangay Canlubang when the shootout happened around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
