SAN PEDRO CITY ---- Police recovered 19 plastic sachets of suspected "shabu" (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Sto. Tomas City in Batangas province, a report said on Thursday. The arrested suspect was identified as Winnie Villavicencio. According to a police report, the buy-bust happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday in Barangay Sta. Clara. Villavicencio reportedly attempted to resist arrest by shooting at the police officers, who returned fire and hit him in the hip and leg.
