LUCENA CITY -- A speeding commuter van rammed and killed an 81-year old pedestrian along Maharlika Highway in Atimonan, Quezon Monday night, police said. The Atimonan police said Rolando Montejo Sr., a Small Town Lottery bet collector, was crossing the highway in Barangay Tagbakin at around 6:20 p.m. when he was hit by the van driven by Robert Dosdo, 42. Rescuers immediately brought the badly injured Montejo to Doa Marta Hospital. He, however, expired along the way.
