MANILA, Philippines -- The Luzon grid was placed under yellow and red alerts for a total of 14 hours on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). In a Twitter post, the NGCP said the biggest power grid in the country would be under yellow alert from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and again on 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., a total of seven hours.
