MANILA, Philippines -- Filipinos can expect fair weather when they celebrate New Year's Eve with the prevailing easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, the state weather bureau said on Monday. According to the latest forecast from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the easterlies will bring warm weather to the whole country.
