LUCENA CITY - A motorcycle rider died after he swerved to the opposite lane and collided head-on with another motorcycle in Sariaya, Quezon province on Saturday night. John Argei Peria, 26, who did not have a crash helmet on, died on the spot due to severe head and body injuries. The other motorist involved, Maxcel de Castro, 26, likewise sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Candelaria United Doctors Hospital. The Quezon police said that Peria was cruising along the national highway in Barangay Lutucan at around 8:30p.m. when he swerved to the opposite lane and struck De Castro's motorbike.
