LEGAZPI CITY ---- Bad weather has hampered the restoration of electricity in parts of Albay, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said on Friday. "Due to inclement weather and non-stop heavy rains, NGCP's restoration work at the Daraga-Tiwi 230kV line stopped at 11 p.m. last night (Thursday) to ensure the safety our crew," NGCP said in an advisory. Electricity was expected to be restored on Thursday, ten days after Typhoon "Tisoy" (international name: Kammuri) toppled thousands of power lines.
