TACLOBAN CITY ---- Regular and casual employees of the Tacloban City government will receive a cash bonus in time for the Christmas season. The local government allocated P34.5 million for around 2,000 city government workers, said Henry James Roca of the City Information Office. Regular workers will receive a bonus of P35,000 each, while casual employees and job order workers will get P10,000 and P6,000 respectively. Also included in the budget set aside by the city government are more than 1,240 barangay officials who will receive P2,000 each.
