CITY OF CALAPAN -- The provincial board on Wednesday declared a state of calamity in Oriental Mindoro amid the widespread devastation left behind by Typhoon Tisoy earlier this week. Damage to crops, property and infrastructure was initially pegged at over P384 million. The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office said damage to the agriculture sector is almost P300 million. Damage to infrastructure was estimated at P87,300,000.
