TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines--The town of Guiuan, Eastern Samar was hit by a series of earthquakes early Tuesday morning. No damage has been reported. Based on the monitoring of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvocs), the series of quakes was first felt at 12:39 a.m. with a magnitude of 4.2. It was followed by another 1.9 magnitude earthquake at about 12.42 a.m. Another tremor with a magnitude of 2.0 occurred in the town at 1:58 a.m. followed by another jolt with the same magnitude at 3:25 a.m. The last tremor that hit the town was felt at about 4:13 a.m. with a magnitude of 1.8.
