CATARMAN, Northern Samar -- At least 1,219 passengers have been stranded in the different ports here due to bad weather brought about by Typhoon Tisoy. Of the total number, 950 passengers were stuck at the Allen port, 84 at Balwharteco Port, 154 at the Sta. Clara Port, and 31 at the Philippine Arch Ferries Port. Some 213 families comprising of 944 individuals from the coastal villages of Cawayan, Baybay, and Dalakit have transferred to their respective evacuation areas.
