MANILA, Philippines -- Newly-appointed Department of Information Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Gringo Honasan should expedite the setting up of free internet service in state universities and colleges (SUCs), Senator Sonny Angara said on Tuesday. Citing DICT data, Angara noted that only 17 out of 112 SUCs in the country have installed free Wi-Fi hotspots as of December 2018.
