MANILA, Philippines--Margielyn Didal continued to make a name for herself in the international skateboarding scene. Didal finished fifth---the highest finish by a Filipino---in the 2019 Street League Skateboarding World Tour in Los Angeles, California Monday (Manila time). The 20-year-old Didal barely missed the podium but she nonetheless boosted her chances to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Didal, the 2018 Asian Games gold medalist, scored a total of 21.7 points, just less than a point shy from finishing in the top three.
