Albay police assistant information officer Corporal Charmie Mayores said Ronald Viterbo was the target of a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Napo at around 9:25 p.m. According to police, Viterbo opened fire at the undercover police officer who posed as the buyer during the bust, forcing the officer to shoot back.
