MANILA, Philippines - Angat Dam's water elevation level rose to 161.86 meters on Thursday morning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. The latest measured water level is 0.78 meters higher than Wednesday's level which was at 161.08 meters. National Water Resources Board (NWRB) Executive Director Sevillo David said that the rain showers due to the southwest monsoon helped boost the dam's water level.
