MANILA, Philippines --- The local government of Manila seized more than 235 kilos of "botcha" or "double dead" meat at Ilaya, Recto early Monday. The "botcha" chicken meat were seized around 1 a.m. by the Veterinary Inspection Board (VIB) inspectors during their routine inspection. According to VIB, the meat were found hidden under the tables. However, no individual was arrested. The VIB said that no one was present handling the botcha chicken meat when they conducted the inspection.
