MANILA, Philippines - The trough or extension of a lower pressure area (LPA) will affect a large portion of the country on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said that Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol region, Visayas, and Mindanao areas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Pagasa warned of possible flash floods and landslides in affected areas.
