MANILA, Philippines --- The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has placed the Luzon grid under yellow on Tuesday, July 9. In an advisory, the NGCP said the yellow alert raised on the country's largest grid takes effect from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Available capacity for the Luzon grid is at 11,172 megawatts, and its peak demand is at10,466 megawatts.
